Students and Employees Living in Residence Halls, Privatized Housing

  • Information for Solano Park, Russell Park, LaRue Park, The Colleges at LaRue, Primero Grove, 8th & Wake, West Village, TheGreen residents
    • Most privatized housing residents are provided parking accommodations to park near their residence. To make arrangements, you will need to reach out to your leasing office for details. Privatized housing residents are not provided access to the affiliate rates via ParkMobile and will pay the daily visitor rate for parking. A permit is required M-F (excluding University Holidays) on campus. If you wish to park your vehicle in campus lots please set up your ParkMobile account using your UCD email address ONLY.
  • Information for Segundo, Tercero, and Cuarto residents
    • Dorm residents are not able to bring their vehicles to campus and are not provided access to the affiliate rates via ParkMobile. If a dorm resident decides to bring their vehicle they will pay the daily visitor rate for parking. A permit is required M-F (excluding University Holidays) on campus. If you wish to park your vehicle in campus lots please set up your ParkMobile account using your UCD email address ONLY. See information below regarding dorm resident exception eligibility. 

For Dorm Residence Hall Students Requesting Campus Parking Access

A residence hall student with extenuating circumstances may submit a written appeal to request an exception to the campus parking policy. Generally, appeals will not be granted for reasons that include: the distance one lives from home, work/class obligations, vehicle ownership, and social activities.

  • All appeals submitted are subject to verification via audits. If audited, appeal applicants may be required to provide additional documentation verifying all information provided in the appeal. Students who falsify information shall have their appeals terminated, or their parking access revoked, and they shall be referred to Office of Student Support and Judicial Affairs (OSSJA) (Standards of Conduct policy 102.02).
