New Parking Invoice Program in Response to Community Feedback

Forgot to pay for parking? It happens!

Responding to feedback from the UC Davis community, Transportation Services is piloting the Parking Invoice Program to address parking citations issued to those who forgot to pay for parking or weren't aware of their parking permit options. Invoices are a limited time offer to pay the non-affiliate daily rate instead of a parking citation fine. Over the summer, the department will assess and consider a permanent roll out of the Parking Invoice Program in Fall 2023.

Important things to know about the Parking Invoice Program:
  • Invoices may be issued to those parked in a C, L, M, or F Zone without a valid permit
  • Invoices are NOT available in A or C+ Zones
  • The deadline to pay the invoice fee is midnight of the following calendar day after it was issued
  • If left unpaid, the invoice will convert to a citation
  • Invoices are not appealable and will automatically convert to a citation if the appeal process is initiated
  • Affiliates and non-affiliates are eligible to be invoiced twice every 12 months
  • Invoices can be paid online at parking.ucdavis.edu
