Bicycle Auctions
In accordance with the California Civil Code, TAPS disposes of abandoned, unclaimed bicycles through publicly-held auctions. Two "live" auctions are held annually, usually in mid-October and early May. In addition, we also periodically sell bicycles on eBay. The bikes sold through eBay are typically the lowest quality bikes in the poorest condition, and are sold in "lots" of several bikes each.
