University Airport is a general aviation non-controlled airport available to the UC Davis campus, the local community, and the general public.

Cal Aggie Flying Farmers, Inc.

The Cal Aggie Flying Farmers, Inc., (CAFF) established in 1947, located at the University Airport is the oldest general aviation operation in the Sacramento area. The original aircraft operation was started as a non-profit corporation by aviation enthusiasts, local farmers, and returning World War II pilots. The flying club is still operating under the original goal of providing aircraft and flight instruction to the general public at a reasonable cost. The Cal Aggies offer rentals of Cessna singles and Piper twin for every skill level and equipment need. University Airport is a small non-towered airport that provides a friendly aviation environment and a cost savings by reducing ground delays found at larger airports.

Driving to the Airport

From Interstate 80 take the Highway 113 exit north toward Woodland. From 113, exit at the UC Davis Hutchison Drive. At the stop sign turn left on Hutchison Drive and go west 1.4 miles. Turn left (south) on Hopkins Road for .4 miles to Airport Road. Turn left (east) on Airport Road to the airport parking lot. CAFF is located in the building that is next to the ramp.
