Retiree Information

STOPPING PAYROLL DEDUCTION FOR A CURRENT PERMIT

As an employee who will be separating/retiring from UC Davis and who has a valid parking permit being paid through payroll deduction, you will need to contact the TAPS office to cancel your permit in time to avoid future charges. Thirty days prior to your separation/retirement date, please contact the TAPS office for instructions on canceling your permit and any future scheduled payroll deductions. You will be asked to sign a payroll deduction cancellation form and return your current permit to the TAPS office. At that time, a temporary permit will be issued for the remaining month so you can continue to park on campus.

RT (RETIREE) PERMITS

"RT" parking permits may be requested by faculty and staff personnel who have retired from UC Davis employment. If a retiree should return to work at UC Davis (or UCDMC) he/she is no longer eligible for this type of permit. A fee will be assessed for replacement of a lost/stolen RT permit.

"RT" permits are valid in "A" permit spaces. Permits must be fully displayed on the driver's side of the dashboard in a position clearly visible to Parking Enforcement officers. "RT" parking permits are non-transferable, and may not be used by anyone other than the retiree. Misuse of these permits may result in revocation of parking privileges on campus. "RT" permits are not valid in restricted spaces. A rate may be assessed with this permit, and such rate is subject to change.
